Holloid was started in October 2020 to commercialize the pioneering research on holographic imaging and cytometry at BOKU University in Vienna.  Our vision is to bring the benefits of high-speed 3D imaging and optical characterization to the market, using innovative hardware and patented software solutions to detect, identify, and sort colloids, such as dispersed particles, cells, and microorganisms. ​We provide real-time multi-dimensional data on physical characteristics of cells and other colloids (including motion and interactions), based on 3D imaging, with the throughput of cytometry. Holloid's 24/7, real-time, image-based in-line monitoring helps producers of food, pharma, and energy reduce costs, improve quality, and raise safety. ​Leveraging artificial intelligence, Holloid shows what happens in bioreactors and the environment. ​We sell devices for an Industrial IoT microscopy solution and Software as a Service powered by our proprietary algorithms. We provide images and data on a high-throughput, in-line, in real-time, 24/7. ​With Holloid, production managers and quality assurers can make decisions on harvesting or changing parameters - and even automate them - without expert staff.
